A weeks holiday in october, did a few rarities nationally.....but also found some nice birds at Hoveringham.A wet tuesday afternoon.....poking the big lens out of the dry side of the car, photographing Tufties..........when a Bittern tapped on the car window!!!!! well not literally but did give me a bit of a shock........got a few record shots for posterity. It seemed to drop into some reeds, flushed three Jack snipe while looking for it.......not bad not bad at all!
